Hopkinton Girls Youth Lacrosse relies on its parents as volunteer coaches.  No lacrosse experience is required to become a coach. 

HGYL, along with HHS Varsity Coaches and players, offer coaching clinics and coaching assistance during the pre-season to help coaches prepare.

HGYL and age group coordinators can also provide Practice plans and templates that have been shared among age group coaches as well.

The OTTO SPORT Mobile App is a one-stop tool for coaches, parents, and game officials to stay on track during the season. Your organization's administrators can set permissions for visibility to rosters, event calendars, game score reports, and more based on seasonal needs for teams. Track Team Attendance with RSVP Statuses for Events

• Players and staff can manage their RSVP status for all upcoming events

  • Tip: Team staff can edit RSVP responses for past events to ensure attendance records are up to date.

View Staff & Player ID Cards

• Easily access ID Cards for games

Submit Game Scores

• Report scores at the conclusion of each match

• Team members can share real-time game updates, track game time, and enter scores so everyone stays up to date—even if they can’t attend.

User Note: If you’ve downloaded the OTTO SPORT Mobile App but don’t see all available features after signing in, check with your organization to make sure those app features are enabled for your teams. Also, confirm that you’re correctly assigned to a team roster with the appropriate coach or staff role, as app access is based on your roster permissions.
